SUMS VLE Showcase Schools

SUMS has set up a network of more than 50 Showcase schools, a number that is expected to grow to over 200 by the end of 2009. Each of these schools uses SUMS Maths (and sometimes other SUMS software) on their Learning Platform. They are open to discuss what they are doing, and form a core of expertise to aid our future development plans.

WHERE ARE THE SUMS SHOWCASE SCHOOLS ?

We will publish names and contact details for Showcase schools once they have confirmed that they are ready to respond to questions from other schools. We also have many local authorities where we are in the early stages of setting up Showcases so they do not yet appear on this list.

If you like SUMS Maths and wish to become a Showcase school then please contact David - contact details are elsewhere on this website.

Apologies. This list is usually already out of date. Do not worry if you are a Showcase school and your LA does not yet appear here.

Benefits of being a Showcase School.

Stage 1. Start with a free perpetual licence to SUMS Maths for your VLE. We have many local authority wide purchases of SUMS Maths. This software would cost you £490 normally.

Stage 2. Once SUMS Maths is up and running and you have confirmed that you like it, get a free perpetual licence to use SUMS Phonics on your VLE.

Stage 3. Once you confirm that SUMS Phonics is working well for you, borrow a PSP with SUMS Maths and Phonics running on it, then get two free memory sticks with the software that you can use longterm on PSPs you buy yourself.

SUMS French is also under development.

In return - nothing excet that you give us feedback on our products when asked, and are open to speak to other schools about how you use SUMS products.

Plus. During 2010 we will be running various events where you can network with other Showcase schools.
