About SUMS

SUMS activities are designed to drop easily into the structure of existing lessons and lectures, adding interest and challenge. Because each activity has a tight focus on a learning point, they are ideal for introducing topics on an interactive whiteboard, and for extension material on individual computers or in a computer suite. All activities have two difficulty levels to support differentiation.

PC/LAPTOPs. Whether you want to use SUMS Maths on your interactive whiteboard, on the PCs in your room, or on your network, SUMS is easily installed. Indeed one reason for SUMS popularity is that it works on all of the different computer platforms you want to use.

LEARNING PLATFORMS. Our software works well on Virtual Learning Environments such as RM Kaleidos, Studywiz, Moodle, Frog, Fronter, Microsoft Sharepoint Learning Kit (SLK), LP Plus etc. You can download 8 free sample packs now. They contain the same activities as you see in the Playground Area of this website.

HANDHELDS. Our software is also designed to be used by students working alone, both within the structure of a well planned lesson and after school hours. It is the leading maths software in use on handheld projects worldwide - example handhelds being Windows Mobile phones and PDAs, Sony PSPs, ASUS eeePCs, Nokia phones etc.
